Workforce Training

Wake Forest and the Triangle area are surrounded by abundant workforce training partners and organizations. From our public school system and local colleges and universities preparing tens of thousands of students annually for the workforce, to the Wake Technical Community College providing a plethora of customized training programs, associates degrees, continuing education, certifications and career path change programs, these partners are extremely valuable in preparing students of any age for success in the workplace.

In addition to these fine educational institutions, the Capital Area Workforce Development Board is a tremendous asset to our community. Their mission is to create a highly effective workforce system. This system will provide employers with productive, skilled workers and offer citizens training and employment opportunities that promote job satisfaction and economic stability. The accomplishment of this mission will enable all citizens to contribute to the prosperity of the community.
